Deborah
is now working on her fine art
painting full time. She focuses much
of her attention to light and color
in her creation of landscapes,
wildlife and her love of horses and
their people. Her work has been
described as impressionistic
realism. “I want to bring the joy of
life through painting and use my
brush to create a connection with
the viewer.”
Colorado Artist
Deborah Fuelberth has a BFA in
Illustration from Art Center College
of Design in Pasadena, CA. After
graduating in 1986, she began her
career illustrating for companies
that did work for Disney, Warner
Brothers, the Jet Propulsion
Laboratory/NASA, and numerous
advertising agencies.
After professionally illustrating
for 11 years, she chose to start a
family with her husband Steve.
While taking care of their son, she
stopped illustrating and slowly
started her fine art career.
Her work appears in
many private and public collections
and has won several awards. Deborah
has painted in many different
mediums but finds oils to be her
favorite. She has found it gives a
depth of color and richness that you
can’t get in other mediums.
She
later took workshops with Charles Sovek and Michael Lynch to further
her knowledge of painting and her
love of color. She focuses much of
her attention to light and color in
her creation of landscapes, wildlife
and her love of horses and their
people. Her work has been described
as impressionistic realism. “I want
to bring the joy of life through
painting and use my brush to create
a connection with the viewer.”
