T
he passion for creating art started at a very tender age. Creating artwork was a way to communicate my feelings, and expression of my individuality. The act of drawing, painting has always stirred a deeper sense within myself, and an inner knowing, the flow of love that flows onto the canvas when I am an open channel for the Beloved. The passion to paint and witness a painting unfold before my eyes with magical colors of hues and values is a mystery to me..... still.

The inner journey of exploring the many sides of myself reflect in my work, in my different mediums. Gorge Carlson a Master painter/ sculptor shared with me many years ago “If you call yourself a true artist, be a well rounded one.” These powerful few words so inspirational, have molded my many years of creating art. And so, I strengthened the ability to sculpt in stone, cast in bronze, organic earth clays, to oil painting and working in mixed media.

My love for travel has opened up so many amazing places to paint, whether the dry desert or the fields in Europe. Each experience has pushed me deeper, and forced me to challenge myself by feeling and thinking outside of the box, exploring new ways to experience creating art.

I reside in Pine Colorado the heart of the Rocky Mountains. A place where wildlife roam freely and in the Fall the aspen trees turn a saffron deep yellow/orange, creating a golden canopy of magical beauty.

A graduate from Rocky Mt College of Art in 1984.
